North Plains Oregon
A regional contest being hosted by FAWs to include participants from all over the Northwest, RC pilots compete by flying miniature replicas of full scale aircraft through a series of maneuvers to create the illusion you are viewing a real aircraft. For more information on this event, and the opportunities available for either being a contestant or volunteer, please contact Scott Enochs at rcscaleevent@gmail.com.
The skies of North Plains will again come alive with vintage and modern aircraft, celebrating military aviation that has protected our country and others. Competitions, prizes, and a flight line photo op will be in play for the day. This annual event is always a highlight in our rotation of activities, and the only one with bragging rights for "Best in Show".
FAWs RC Club has been approved as a FRIA location. Pilots ARE NOT REQUIRED to have FAA Remote ID modules in their RC aircraft or transmit digital location data while flying. All pilots flying within the boundaries of the FAWs RC Field and not exceeding the 400 foot celling, are free to fly without any Remote ID equipment.
We build them. We fly them.
We're excited when we land them.

The end of the year financial report, field rules, bylaws, and other club documents are available in the downloads section for review.
FLY-A-WAYs RC Club has been around a lot longer than many of us. Take a few minutes and learn about how it all started, and how we got to where we are now.
